Lori's Antelope Hunt

I got two antelope in one morning. I had two doe antelope to get and got both of them on Monday. Jayden and Syrus went with us and they loved it. They posed for a few pictures with me and the antelope.

The Moose Hunt

Dennis, Wayne, Ed, and Randy went to Jackson on Randy's moose hunt. They had a good time and got a moose. They only saw two moose. One was smaller than this one that Randy got and was still in the velvet. It took them until 2:00 in the morning to get this moose caped and quartered and back to camp. Thank goodness for headlamps to see. They were happy to get this one and I'm glad they made it home. They had to stop in Yellowstone Park and sleep on the way home. They got home at 7:30 this morning. Dennis had a bear tag and was hoping to see a big black bear that a guy told them had been there in that area, but he did not get one or see one.

IT IS HUNTING SEASON ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hunting season is here. Dennis, Wayne, Ed and Jesse have been hunting a lot near the Clark Fork Canyon for Jesse's mountain goat. The goats are actually in the rocks on these canyons. They saw 30 goats on Saturday, but they were all nannies and their kids or yearlings. They only saw one big billie goat on the day it opened on Sept. 1st but could not get close enough for a shot. They are there again today trying to find that big one again. Antelope season is this month also. I will have to post more pictures when I get my antelope.

These goats are two nannies and one kid. But they did manage to get a picture of them.

Jannica, David and Wayne went riding

Dennis took Jannica, David and Wayne up the same trail in the Southfork that he had been
going with Northern every week. This horse is Buck, Wayne's new registered buckskin that he got a great deal on. He sure is an awesome horse. They loved the ride and thought that it was really pretty there.

Northern started a program for the summer on every Wednesday Dennis and another guy took all the clients that wanted to ride on a trail ride up the Southfork. Chris, Ryan and Eric rode quite a bit. They liked it.

The grandkids are growing up so fast!!!

The grandkids are growing so much everyday. Jayla is over one month old now. Tevyn will be 2 months old on Sept. 8th. Syrus is 2 years old. Jayden in 3 years old now and Saundra will be 11 years old in December. The new babies are getting so cute and growing so fast.

The Rodeo

Saundra came back from being in Idaho only long enough to go to one Rodeo with the boys. They had fun and learned how to rope and Grandpa Dennis bought a couple of ropes for them all to keep practicing. They liked sitting on Hollywood the bull and they loved the clowns.

Jannica's Surgery

Jannica had surgery on August 19th in Billings, Montana. She had a thryoid cyst that got removed. Everything was ok but they took out the cyst and part of the neck bone that it was attached to. She is now recovering from that and on September 10th she goes back to the doctor here in Cody to see if she needs shoulder surgery that she hurt on the job with Schwan's.

Jayden learning to Irrigate

Jayden loves to go help Grandpa Dennis with his horses and waters them and tries to rope them. (since he has been to the Rodeo too many times now.) He went out and wanted to learn to irrigate. He loved that, the getting wet part. He loved to shovel also. This horse is Buck, Wayne's new horse.
