The Balloon Fest

They have an annual balloon fest the 1st weekend in August. They lift off at the park right by our house. Then they fly right over my house. I took some pictures this year early in the morning from the backyard. They were some pretty ones with bright colors.

Tubing

Jayden and Syrus loved tubing this year. They rode on the new tube with Jenna Baxter (Randy's Wife) They both rode one big circle around and they loved it.

Great Grandparents

Having Great Grandparents to come visit is awesome. It was good to have them come to see their new great grandkids. Mom and Larry came for a short visit and saw Tevyn. We hope that they can come back to see Jayla.

Great Grandma Edna came for a visit and held both grandkids together. We were glad that she got to come to see them.


We went to Powell to the nursing home so that we could get pictures of Great Grandpa Baxter and Great grandma Baxter together with the grandkids.

New Granddaughter

Jennifer had her baby girl, Jayla Louise Scheid, on July 28, 2009 at 8:50 AM. She weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces and is 19 1/2 inches long. She has the full face and chubby checks that Jennifer had when she was born. She is sure cute and it looked weird to finally see a pink hat on a baby. Jayden is playing the big brother part well. Tevyn is only 20 days older but has grown so much in those 20 days.

Kirwin Mines

While Mom and Larry were here we took them up the Wood River. We went all the way to the end of the road to Kirwin Mines. There is old abanded buuildings. In 1870 it was started up. They had over 200 people in the town. It closed in 1907. We saw a moose when we got up in there to take pictures.

Four Generations

We got a four generations picture already with Tevyn since Grandma and Grandpa Anderson showed up this weekend. It was good to see them. I had to go to Billings since Clayton went there by ambulance on Wednesday. They got to come to Billings and eat with me.

The New Baby Boy

Jamie had her baby boy on July 8, 2009. They named him Tevyn Wayne Bates. He weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and was 19 inches. He is so cute. Syrus was so excited and kept saying, "My baby." Jamie and Tevyn are doing really good.
